If you’re a fan of limited-edition sodas or unique flavor twists, you might want to check your stash—PepsiCo is making some big cuts to both its Pepsi and Mountain Dew lineups this year.
On the Pepsi side, both Pepsi Mango (including the Zero Sugar version) and Nitro Pepsi (Original and Vanilla) have officially been discontinued. These flavors, introduced as bold experiments in recent years, didn’t make the cut heading into 2025.
Mountain Dew fans are also feeling the sting. The company is discontinuing Major Melon, Spark (raspberry lemonade), Frost Bite (a Walmart exclusive), and Legend (previously only available at Buffalo Wild Wings, ending this August). Even Pitch Black has been pulled from Canadian fountain locations.
While some of these retirements come as a surprise, PepsiCo is already teasing replacements. Expect new Mountain Dew flavors like Dragonfruit, Honeydew, Trolli Cherry Melon, and Baja Cabo Citrus to roll out throughout the year.
So if you’ve got a favorite in the list above, now might be the time to grab a few final cans while you still can.
