Jimmy Kimmel became a grandfather when his oldest daughter gave birth to a girl. In his monologue, he joked about his daughter's age and praised his sidekick Guillermo as a great doula. This was only the second night in the show's 22-year history that Kimmel took off. The baby's name is Patti Joan, in honor of Kimmel's mother.
