The project will be done with director Tim Burton.
After the official announcement, Twitter had a lot to say.
Positive comments included, “Jenna Ortega the new face of horror. I absolutely love to see it, sorry” and “Legit the perfect person to play the daughter of Lydia! I know Winona is proud!”
Negative comments included, “Jenna has very little range all she’s in is horror and edgy films,” and “Is Jenna Ortega gonna redo The Craft next. Like damn.”
