Kelly McCreary, who has played Maggie Pierce on “Grey’s Anatomy” for the past nine years, is leaving the show. Her last episode as a series regular will air on April 13th. Maggie will still make some appearances in the future episodes of the show. McCreary thanked the show’s creator, executive producer and ABC for the opportunity.
She said in a statement, “Playing Maggie Pierce has been one of the true joys of my life, and I leave with profound gratitude for every step of this journey. I am excited for this next chapter, and what the future holds.”
