Last night’s episode of The Voice proved to be a solid one for coach Gwen Stefani, who secured two impressive vocalists for her team. Gwen’s first big win came at the top of the hour, when Rod Stewart tour opener Johnny Gates performed an energetic cover of Stewart’s hit “Maggie May.” While both Gwen and Alicia Keys turned their chairs, Gwen’s history in garage bands convinced Johnny to choose her as his coach. Later, 16-year-old Caroline Sky won over both Gwen and Blake Shelton with her sweet delivery of “Will You Love Me Tomorrow?” by Carole King. While Blake argued that he’s “had a lot of success with young talent,” Caroline ultimately went with Gwen.
What do you think? Good choices on Gwen’s part??
